Rudra Cave is a New Attraction Place in Kedarnath for Pilgrims after PM Narender Modi Visit

At the Time of Kapat Opening of Shri Kedarnath Ji Temple in 2019. Prime Minister of India Narendra Damodardas Modi visited Kedarnath Ji  & Spend a day in meditating at the Rudra Caves which is barely a kilometre far from the Kedarnath Temple of Uttarakhand, in the final days of the general elections of India. The cave is maintained by the GMVN - Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam.

It is the first Time When Rudra Cave Open for Pilgrims in 2019.Immediately after Prime Minister Modi visit, Rudra caves received 04 Bookings in the month of May, followed by 28 bookings in June, 10 in July, 8 in August, 19 in September and 10 in October.

Booking for Rudra Cave in Kedarnath at Below Rates

 Night Stay charge is Rs.1500/- per night
Day Stay 06 am to 06 pm is Rs.999/-

 Facilities Provided in Rudra Cave in Kedarnath:
- A phone has been installed in the cave which can be used by the visitor in case of an emergency. 
- It has electricity and drinking water for guests
- It also has a attached toilet and a heater
- Guests will also get morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner according to their preference.
- The cave also has a bell that can be used to call an attendant, as 24X7 staff has been deputed here for guests.

 GMVN official said that since the cave is located at a remote location and is meant to encourage meditation, only one person is allowed in the cave at a time. Even though the cave offers complete isolation.
